“I was able to go from being a manager...to having an ownership stake in [the ranch], and partner with someone who saw the potential in the property.”

Sage Price, Ranch Manager
professional

We partnered with Trout Unlimited, Wyoming Game & Fish, US Fish & Wildlife, the Jackson Hole Land Trust and more in order to restore ten miles of important Colorado Cutthroat trout stream.  We ripped out wildlife unfriendly fencing and installed fencing enabling mule deer, pronghorn, elk, moose, and other wildlife to move through the ranch.  We moved to a rotational, management intensive grazing operation and worked to improve habitat for sage grouse.

Landowner

Nine different individuals owned portions of the ranch.  It was challenging to know who owned what and how they could sell the ranch in its current state of fractured ownership.  We worked with each owner to achieve their desired outcome, ranging from purely cashing out, to ongoing recreational access, to an option to acquire the ranch back in the future.
